    • Jawa1 Combined Cycle Gas Turbine ("CCGT") Power Plant Independent Power Producer Project was tendered by PT PLN (Persero) and awarded to a consortium of PT Pertamina (Persero), Marubeni Corporation, and Sojitz Corporation on October 19, 2016.
    • The consortium incorporated an IPP project company, PT Jawa Satu Power (“JSP”), which entered into Power Purchase Agreement with PT PLN (Persero) on January 31, 2017.
    • The consortium, Mitsui O.S.K Lines and other local shipping company incorporated FSRU Project company, PT Jawa Satu Regas ("JSR"), which entered into FSRU Service Agreement with JSP on 17 October 2018.
    • The project involves designing, financing, constructing, owning, and operating of a combined cycle gas turbine power plant facility with a design capacity of 1760MW, its associated gas facilities (mooring, off/onshore gas pipeline, and onshore receiving facility) and a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU).

    Sojitz Corporation is one of the largest Sogo Shosha (General Trading Companies) in Japan. It has invested into several gas-fired IPP projects in the Middle East and Asia and also has investments in large-scale LNG projects including Tangguh LNG projects in Indonesia through its affiliate company.

    Japan

    Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (“MOL”) is one of the largest shipping company in Japan and a leading business player in global LNG transportation business including Floating Regasification and Storage Unit (FSRU), as well as tankers, bulk carriers, car carriers, containerships, Crouse ships, coastal lines, and logistics. MOL started LNG transportation business in Indonesia from the 1970s.
